His interests were as diverse as his personality, ranging from sports to history, and a fondness for vintage Hollywood movies, often enjoyed in the cozy company of his loyal dog and companion, Aussie. Paul was a man known for his infectious sense of humor, treasuring the laughs he shared with his friends, whom he welcomed into his circle as family. His family extends to 17 nieces and nephews and 15 grand nieces and nephews, each of whom were held dear in his expansive, loving heart. He leaves behind a legacy carried forward by his wife, Sonia Esther Torres Waters, his four stepchildren - Lawrence, Brigitte, Adrienne, and Hariette, and his sisters and brother-in-laws - Rosamond and Bob Monahan of Bradenton, FL, Eileen and Jim Troy of New Canaan, CT, and Janet and Frank McGowan of Medfield, MA. and Rosamond O’Keefe Waters of Newton Center, MA. Paul was the beloved son of the late Paul Augustus Waters Jr. He was an esteemed part of the football program, earning recognition as a dedicated student-athlete from the dean of Boston College, a testament to his enduring commitment and passion.Ī lifelong adventurer, Paul divided his time between the scenic views of Greenwich, CT and the serene beaches of Hobe Sound, FL. Paul walked on to the Division 1 Football Team, and was granted a scholarship his sophomore year. He later graced the halls of Boston College, earning his degree in 1981. He etched his mark as a very talented Football Player and was active in many clubs and organizations, including student government where Paul served as a sterling School President. Paul was a proud alumnus of Catholic Memorial High School, Class of '77.
